Open House Melbourne

This July as part of Open House Melbourne, explore the opulent Werribee Park Mansion and grounds. The 60-room, 1800’s renaissance style Mansion, pays homage to a bygone era of grandeur and wealth. 

This is a chance to explore the Mansion’s history over the past 100 years, with free entry on Sunday 28 July from 10am – 4pm.

Enjoy musical performances and games throughout the day, explore the gardens and outbuildings and chat to one of the Parks Victoria Rangers and volunteers.

The Werribee Park Precinct takes in the Werribee Park Mansion, Victorian State Rose Garden, Werribee Park Heritage Orchard the National Equestrian Centre and Werribee Open Range Zoo.


EAT & DRINK

Experience a spot of Devonshire Tea at the Refectory Parlor with delicious scones, homemade lemonade and tea or coffee. Book your spot today from 10am – 2pm.

Enjoy a lavish High Tea at Joseph’s Dining at the Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee Park or indulge in a Wine & Dine or Spa Package. Spaces are limited, make a reservation today.

Lunch and Something More

The Mansion Café serves up café staples and of course coffee from 10am – 4pm or take a leisurely walk over to the award winning Shadowfax Winery for a tasing at the cellar door and gourmet Mediterranean-inspired lunch from 11am – 5pm.

Just outside the Werribee Park Precinct grounds is the Wyndham Cache and The Views function Bar and Grill at the Werribee Golf Course or head down to the Wyndham Harbour Marina and enjoy the picturesque views of Port Phillip Bay and the Melbourne City skyline at 3030 Boulevard for lunch or dinner from 12pm – 9pm.
 

MAKE A WEEKEND OF IT

Adventure awaits at the Werribee Open Range Zoo, take some time to explore the African Savannah on the Safari Tour (included in entry), or walk along the Australian Trail and bump into some of the locals including koalas and kangaroos.

Looking for some family friendly competition? Then head down to mini golf at The Elements Coastal Activity Park at the Wyndham Harbour Marina.

For aviation enthusiasts head over to the RAAF Museum or B24 Liberator Memorial Australia, both open Thursdays and Sundays, with bookings essential to visit the RAAF Museum (free entry).
